Parent Contract

Terms & Conditions

These terms constitute the agreement between Magical Moments Preschool and the parent/guardian. By registering your child, you agree to these terms.

Last Updated: December, 2025

1. Admissions & Registration

A registration form must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian. A non-refundable registration fee may be required to secure your child's place (excluding fully funded places).

Places are allocated in accordance with our Admissions Policy, prioritising siblings and children living in the local catchment area of Westfield.

2. Fees & Payments

Invoices: Fees are invoiced termly or monthly in advance. Payment must be made by the date specified on the invoice.

Late Payments: We reserve the right to apply a late payment fee for invoices not settled by the due date. Continued non-payment may result in the termination of the childcare place.

Absences: Fees remain payable during periods of absence, including sickness and family holidays, as our costs remain the same.

3. Health & Sickness

Exclusion Periods: Parents must keep children at home if they are suffering from any contagious illness (e.g., Chicken Pox, Impetigo).

48-Hour Rule: In cases of vomiting or diarrhoea, children must not return to the preschool until 48 hours have passed since the last episode.

Medication: We will only administer prescribed medication if it has been authorised by a parent in writing.

4. Termination & Notice Period

A minimum of 4 weeks' written notice (term-time only) is required to terminate a nursery place or reduce the number of sessions attended. If insufficient notice is given, fees for the notice period will still be charged.

5. Safeguarding

The preschool has a duty of care to report any significant concerns regarding a child's welfare to the local Social Services department. We understand our responsibility to work with other agencies to ensure children are safeguarded.

This is a summary of our core terms. A full contract will be provided upon registration.
