We’re a bunch of well rounded people from diverse backgrounds. We’re committed to levelling up our staff with professional qualifications like Heath & Safety training, Immediate First Aid Response and Childcare NVQ & Young People’s workforce diplomas. This helps us ensure that we have the breadth within the team to look after Children round the clock, no matter the situation.
Sharon Read
Sharon has been in the childcare industry for over 15 years; she first opened Magical Moments Preschool 11 years ago, with her Co-Owner Liz, prior to which she worked for another nursery for several years - She also has a level 3 NVQ qualification in childcare. As well as being a mother to 3 of her own children. Since opening Magical Moments, Sharon has had one mission - To ensure that every child's first experience outside of their comfort zone (in education) was a positive, fun and engaging experience in order for them to gain the skills required to progress as they grow, as well as adapt to their progression through further education.
Sharon consistently ensures that the nursery team is involved, engaged and pro-active in ensuring this is fulfilled as well as supporting her team and parents alike in order to make sure the children are given the best possible experience.

Liz Bowron
Liz has been in the childcare industry for 14+ years, when she first opened Magical Moments Preschool with Sharon. Liz holds a level 3 NVQ qualification in childcare, as well as being a mother to 3 of her own children. Prior to Magical Moments, Liz was a children's entertainer, hence, has had many years of experience working with children in a fun and engaging manner.
Liz is a key proponent in ensuring that the development matters guidance is adhered to in order to ensure that a child's learning journey towards the early learning goals is fulfilled and undertaken in such a way that the programme's developed by Magical Moments support the children in order to develop the key knowledge, skills and understanding they require for a multitude of skills. From personal, social and emotional development as well as through to fundamentals such as literacy, mathematics and communication.
